Who I am
Rachel Fregosi
Holistic Naturopath Therapist
Tarot reader
From an Italian immigrant family, I was born in a town in northern France where the predominant story was the Second World War. I developed in Italian, Arab and Polish communities.
I suppose that to escape a sad and terrible reality that my family and other immigrants lived through, I took refuge in art. Dance and Occult Sciences. Develop the connection between mental power over the body and invisible forces.
After graduating from high school in philosophy, I gave my body and soul to dance and astrology. I was fascinated by the moon, the stars and I felt that something else existed. Dance was a great therapy for personal development and awareness of the importance of food on our body and mind. Nutrition consequently entered my priorities. After several years as a professional dancer and teacher, life drastically turned me upside down. An accident in my leg made my dreams fade. I fell into a deep depression, but that invisible force was being felt more and more. Magic entered my life. I left France to confront the extreme elements of nature through sailing in distant oceans. I had to earn my living, so I used my other knowledge, nutrition, and started my journey as a cook on sailboats. During tow years experience, I developed humility, my senses, my sensations, mind control, loneliness and at the same time universal connection. I opened myself to the divine and since then, I have never stopped expanding this wonderful invisible world.
The search for myself, the will to grow, heal and be a better human being brought me to Costa Rica more than 20 years ago. Arriving in this magnificent land, the Tarot cards also arrived in my life, as if by magic and they did not let go of me. I spent 5 years living in a Rastafarai community in the Caribbean of Costa Rica. I learned the essence of life: leave the material and the superficial, reconnect with the real time: the present, reconsider the vital values, develop my faith and take the time to live and love. I got sick from the very humid climate, I suffered from fungus, Papalomollo (mosquitoes). Rasta Shamans treated me with local medicinal plants. Another revelation! Thanks to them, develop a new passion and don't stop to learn about the plants of the Caribbean.
Little by little, my Tarot cards were not only a guide for my searches and personal development, but I realized that I received more and more messages of predictions. My daughter was born. The Caribbean, at this time, moved away from peace and harmony. Life brought us to Guanacaste, another province of Costa Rica. I opened a restaurant with multicultural food, a synthesis of my travels. I never gave up art, my restaurant had a local art gallery. Over the years, the town also changed. From a very quiet small family town a sense of competition between businesses developed, which made me change my path. The experience of curing my daughter and myself only with plants, made me discover the concept of Macrobiotics and I was converted. He sold macrobiotic products door to door in the most remote towns of the area. I learned from the Guanacastecos. They taught me the indigenous culture and other medicinal plants. Thanks to them I was able to expand my knowledge.
At this time, the messages in my letters were more predictive and informed me of my mother's serious illness. In 3 days, we were in France, 1 month later my mother died. The time we stayed in France to accompany my father during the grief, Costa Rica was in my heart. I wrote a cultural children's book about my adopted country. I did a specialized training in facial massage and how to use the Aloe Vera plant internally and externally. Aloe Vera was the first plant that the shamans of the Caribbean taught me. After 3 years, we returned to Costa Rica.
Following my intuitions and my guidelines, I understood that it was time to settle in a fixed place and provide my daughter with structure. We settled in a secluded place, in the middle of the forest, in the middle of the jungle. I was in search of external silence to work internal silence. I worked for 2 years in a Yoga Retreat, where I offered facial massages with Aloe Vera-based natural cosmetics, Tarot reading and later I took charge of the Juice Bar. My independent personality pushed me again to create my own way of working and I opened a small restaurant in the courtyard of my property. I was at home and I was able to set my imagination free to create what I wanted to offer to others. It was called "Naturoots" (the roots of Nature). My vegetarian, vegan food and drinks were focused on health and wellness. It offered a local art store, natural plant medicine, homemade natural cosmetics. They were a set of all my passions. I shared my Tarot card skills with my friends, helping them in various ways and from word of mouth, clients came to me.
Flowing with the waves of life, after 5 years, I felt and understood that I reached the end of the kitchen. I had to focus my energy on what I aspire to the most, physical, mental and spiritual balance. A holistic training in Naturopathy was the way to academize my knowledge and expand the varieties of alternative therapies. So "Naturoots" evolved into "Holistic Naturoots". My kitchen was transformed into a space where I practice alchemy, preparing remedies, plant tinctures, massage oil based on essential oils. The store was transformed into a Holistic Naturopathy clinic. My letters, always present with me, offer personal reading. They are my precious tools to detect the emotional problem that regenerates bad being and illness. My work on emotions was completed with Bach Flower Therapy. I went on an endless journey, where there is no limitation, always evolving my knowledge to share it with others and learn from you too. I observe Nature and I understand that life is a magical path when one agrees to let it flow.
Do you want to join me in this experience? I want it.
With love, Rachel
